Jordan Gibbons is a former Queens Park Rangers player, who Yeovil Town snapped up following his strong showing in a trialist game at Huish Park during May 2015. He was unveiled as a signing on June 22nd 2015.
Born on November 18th 1993 in Bromley, he is a right-winger who has progressed through QPR's youth ranks, having been given a professional contract in the summer of 2011. He can also play on the opposite flank. He has had some minimal experience out on loan with Inverness Caledonian Thistle during the 2012-13 season, making two appearances for the Scottish side. He was an unused substitute for QPR in a League Cup match but never made it as far as getting on the field of play for their first team. QPR's Under-21s player profiles at the time said of him:
"Jordan Gibbons has been with the club since the age of 15, recently signing a new one-year deal after skippering the Under-21s to the Professional Development League Two play-off final. The winger, who has previously spent time on loan at SPL side Inverness Caledonian Thistle, was given the captainís armband for the second-half of the campaign, making 18 appearances in all."
Jordan signed a one year contract with the Glovers on July 1st 2015. However, he endured an injury-plagued season that saw him drop quickly out of the squad in September 2015, needing a hip operation that he didn't recover from during the remainder of his contract. Unsurprisingly, he was released at the end of the 2015-16 season.
