20 October 2006 : Bowles Signs Up For Dorchester
Yeovil Town Youth Team captain Gary Bowles has signed non-contract forms with Conference South side Dorchester Town. The arrangement appears to be a slightly unusual one - Gary may still play for Yeovil Town Reserves provided there is no clash with a Dorchester match, but if things go well for Gary down at the Avenue Stadium, a permanent contract may be put on the table for him.

Dorchester manager Mick Jenkins has told today's Dorset Echo that Bowles will be in his squad to face Bognor Regis Town at the Avenue Stadium tomorrow and says the deal was made possible by Glovers assistant boss Steve Thompson:

"We need defensive cover and Gary will provide that. He is a very bright talent and he will be in the squad of 17 for tomorrow, and I am very grateful to Steve Thompson for helping to make the move happen."
