Yeovil Town right-back Craig Alcock has secured a new contract with the club. The 31 year old had been drafted in during February 2019, from Cheltenham Town, after seven and a half years away from the club, but endured a frustrating 2018-19 season after he was frozen out of the side by both Darren Way and Neale Marmon during the final three months of the season.
Current boss Darren Sarll has brought him back into the fold and has given him a new one year contract, covering the 2019-20 season, and thus allowing Alcock to add to the 125 appearances he's made for the Glovers across the two spells. The Truro-born youth team product has also played for Peterborough United, Sheffield United and Doncaster Rovers during his career, before his switch to Cheltenham Town at the start of the 2018-19 season.
