Yeovil Town Supporters retained the Adam Stansfield Memorial Trophy at Huish Park today. The Glovers beat their Exeter City opponents by a 4-1 scoreline, thanks to two goals from Alex Leckenby, with Aron Wallis and Ben Loveridge also chipping in with goals.
In a match played on the Huish Park 4G surface, this was a repeat of last summer's scoreline, meaning that Yeovil Town supporters keep their hands on the trophy. The match is an annual event between the two clubs' supporters teams to commemorate the life of Adam Stansfield, who played for both teams, as well as keeping the profile of the Adam Stansfield Foundation high, with the aim of supporting awareness of bowel cancer, as well as raising money for local youth sporting associations.
