Yeovil Town have provided an extension on their 'early bird' deadline for purchasing a Season Ticket for the 2019-20 season. The club have stated that this has been done due to pending discussions regarding a replacement finance option for those wishing to make staged payments for their Season Tickets, as well as due to 'pending developments' at Huish Park.
The latter factor is likely to be the one that is carrying the most weight. With the club still having no first team management in place, and with the Glovers currently undergoing a second round of takeover talks following the collapse of Rob Couhig's takeover in early May, the club remains in a state of flux, with little direction for the coming season.
In addition, the printed versions of the application forms, which are generally posted out to current and recent Season Ticket Holders, have yet to be posted out, but are expected to be later this week.
As a result, fans will now have until 4.00p.m. on Friday 28th June - a two week extension - to make their decisions on their season ticket packages and to retain their existing seat/space in the ground. It is also hoped that by then, a replacement for Zebra Finance, who provided the credit-based payment options, may also be closer to a solution.
