Arron Davies and Paul Terry spoke to the press immediately after Davies struck a hat-trick in the 3-0 away win at Chesterfield on March 4th 2006.

Qu: Arron, three goals through the afternoon and a fantastic win for the club.

AD: It was important that we got the three points today. I was delighted to have got three goals. It was a great all-round team performance and we thoroughly deserved it I thought.

Qu: How did you feel when the gaffer told you that you will be playing upfront with Matt Harrold?

AD: I was delighted. Matty is a good player and I thought he was superb today but he was unlucky not to have got a goal today. It seemed to work well today.

Qu: And you Paul, you came on early on after Tommy Dohertys injury and what a performance by you and the team from then on.

PT: I was disappointed last week but had to respond the right this week. I got my chance early so I was pleased with that, although unfortunate for Tommy and for Anthony Barry - I wish them all the best. It was a great team performance and we worked hard as a team. I think that it showed that we were together out there today.

Qu: Do you think that the training that you had mid-week on the assault course had a positive affect on the teams moral and strength of unity?

PT: Yeah, definitely. We had to work as a team to get through the obstacles and the tasks put in front of us. I think that we took that out to the game today. It showed today - everyone was running for everyone else, tackling for everyone else and filling in for every-one else and that is what we have got to show now until the end of the season. If we do that we will be okay.

Qu: Although you got the three goals Arron, the defence was so solid this afternoon.

AD: It was nice to have Skivo back - he is a leader at the back. I thought that the whole back four were superb and the lads in front of him were also superb. It helped us keep a clean sheet and it was down to the strikers to get some goals then.

Qu: Do you think the team has been missing Terry Skiverton in recent weeks - he must bring a lot of spirit to the side?

AD: You do miss him - he is obviously our captain and he is a good leader. I am glad that he is back now.

Qu: What was the atmosphere like in the dressing room before the game- there must have been a huge desire to win and to put on a display for the travelling fans, Paul?

PT: We appreciate them coming all the way up here. They were fantastic today. It was about us as well - we were pumped up before the game and we knew what to do. We knew if we won, with games being called off, we would be out of the bottom four. That is a big psycological boost for us now. We are out of there and can go into Tuesdays game full of confidence and hopefully we will start climbing the table. If we go and put that kind of spirit and performance in on Tuesday, we are going to be okay.

Qu: Arron, what can this win do today in terms of the rest of the season?

AD: It is a kick start. We felt in recent weeks that we have been playing well but havent been getting the results that we deserve but we cant keep saying it. Hopefully we can kick on. It is a big game on Tuesday and on Saturday at home.
